Console and players
Console
Console shows everything the server says, and gives a line to answer it. Any server command can be typed there. The arrows ↑ and ↓ walk back through what you have already sent.
You do not have to remember the commands. As you type, the panel offers the common ones with a plain description beside each:
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
| list | who is playing right now |
| say | a chat message from the server |
| tell | a private message to one player |
| kick | kick a player off the server |
| ban / pardon | block a player from joining, or lift it |
| op / deop | grant operator rights, or take them away |
| whitelist | the list of who may join |
| gamemode | change a player game mode |
| difficulty | the world difficulty |
| gamerule | the game rules |
| time, weather | the time of day and the weather |
| tp, give, kill, summon | move, give, kill, summon |
| stop | stop the server |
Anything else is passed to Minecraft as written.
Players
Players is the list of who is in the game — Refresh list asks the server again. Choose somebody and the actions apply to them:
| Action | |
|---|---|
| Grant operator / Revoke operator | full rights, or none |
| Kick | throw out now; they can come back |
| Ban / Unban | keep out until you lift it |
| Survival, Creative, Adventure, Spectator | the game mode |
| Heal and feed | back to full health |
| Set spawn point | where they appear next |
The name can be copied with one press — useful when a command needs it typed exactly.
